Skinks playing in the water

I wish I had a picture... but I didn't have my camera with me.

Watering the plants outside, and there is a couple skinks (little smooth lizards) that live in and around the plants.
They are usually very quick and will get out of the way when I am watering, but with the weather being quite warm, they seem to enjoy darting in and out of the water or finding a place where they can get splashed with the water.

That being said, that particular plant gets watered quite well.

Biking Down Hills

Living in a place that uses the term 'mountain' makes biking an interesting venture. But the best part - going down the hills almost as fast as the cars.

Lately I've noticed that what I think and how I express myself about certain things has an incredible affect on the way that I perceive the world around me...
I do not want to be cynical, but all too often it is easy to see and dwell on the things that annoy me or where there is something not right.
So here is to noticing the small things in life - the delightful things. Small snippets of something I would think are worth remembering.
